Birch, K.G.; Smith, P.K.. 1992 MultiMet temperature sensor maintenance and calibration. Wormley, UK, Institute of Oceanographic Sciences Deacon Laboratory, 52pp. (Institute of Oceanographic Sciences Deacon Laboratory Internal Document, 310)

Abstract
The report details the procedures for MultiMet air temperature sensor preparation, maintenance, and calibration. New sensors must be prepared for marine environment. with careful attention being paid to minimising the environmental effects both to the mechanical and electrical effects caused by corrosion. Sensor calibration methods are described and the software tools to check the calibration by use of the database named MetDb are outlined.
