Abstract
With air quality still a critical issue, for the UK and globally, the Environment Agency is charged with finding practical solutions to complex regulatory issues in England and Wales. The current approach adopted for regulating pollutant emissions to atmosphere is based on limiting emissions to the lowest levels feasible and affordable, and ensuring that these levels do not add significantly to the overall atmospheric burden of pollutants.
