GSI3D : Geological surveying and investigation in 3D

Cullen, Hannah; Kessler, Holger; Wood, Benjamin; Mathers, Stephen. 2010 GSI3D : Geological surveying and investigation in 3D. British Geological Survey [Flyer] (Unpublished)

Abstract
GSI3D is an exciting software package for modelling and visualising the subsurface in three dimensions. GSI3D utilises digital geoscience data and geological expertise to rapidly produce 3D geological models of the subsurface without the need for a highly trained expert software user. GSI3D has been developed jointly by BGS and INSIGHT GmbH and is being applied by the BGS, where it is the modelling tool of choice. It is now available for geologists outside BGS as part of the GSI3D Research Consortium, www.gsi3d.org.uk.
