Abstract
On the 24th August 2005 Canatxx Gas Storage Limited commissioned the British Geological Survey (BGS) to produce an assessment of the geology of the Preesall Saltfield area and provide a three-dimensional (3D) model of the Preesall Halite. The work was to contribute to the other proofs of evidence to be submitted on behalf of Canatxx Gas Storage Limited for the Public Inquiry
due to commence into a proposed underground gas storage facility in an area to the east of the River Wyre.
