Abstract
The objectives of the Network are to assemble expertise, methodologies and strategies in four major disciplines (ecology, genetics, genomics and evolution) in order to answer global issues as dynamics of terrestrial biodiversity, response of terrestrial ecosystems to climatic changes. Evoltree will therefore contribute to the emergence of ecosystem genomics, a new discipline that relates the function and diversity of genes to their role in the adaptation of species and biotic interactions. Evoltree has as its main objective to overcome the fragmentation of ecosystem genomics, to structure and integrate the efforts of the main European research team
