Abstract
In order to advance BGS knowledge of the Medway and Swale Estuaries, the Medway Surveyor was hired from Peel Ports in March 2009 and a surface towed boomer seismic reflection survey was undertaken. The project was heavily constrained by tides; it being essential that certain survey lines were run at high water spring tides, preferably at midday to assure confidence in navigation.
