Abstract/Summary

We present a genome assembly of an individual Borostomias antarcticus (large-eye snaggletooth; Chordata; Actinopteri; Stomiiformes; Stomiidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 909.23 megabases. Most of the assembly (87.23%) is scaffolded into 37 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has been assembled, with a length of 17.77 kilobases.
