Abstract/Summary

This report describes the micromorphology of the Quaternary sediments exposed in the Solway area of southern Scotland. The work forms part of the Southern Scotland Quaternary Project of the Integrated Geological Survey (North) Programme. The report provides detailed descriptions of the micromorphology of twelve large format thin sections of the Quaternary sediments exposed at several locations within the project area.
