McCormac, Mike. 2013 Clyde Catchment GOCAD® bedrock regional model, 2013. Nottingham, UK, British Geological Survey, 21pp. (OR/13/036) (Unpublished)
Abstract
The main project aims covered in this report were to create a faulted structural bedrock model,
using GOCAD® 3D modelling software, for a selection of regionally persistent, mid to late
Carboniferous, lithostratigraphical horizons present across the west-central Midland Valley of
Scotland. The single regional model was created by concatenation of existing local scale models,
extended modelling to depth using interval thickness isopachs and fitting to a revised and
extended regional fault model.
