Abstract

This document summarises the sofware and data analysis tools developed by the author to investigate river mass loads. These were used in the LOIS Special Topic RAC(R) 294, whose aims were to develop and apply improved procedures to estimate river mass loads, and in projects for the Department of Transport, the Environment and the Regions (DETR) and the Scottish Office/Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) to calculate aggregated load estimates for Great Britain and Scotland respectively.
