Abstract/Summary

Geochronological, isotopic and aeromagnetic data, including a new Rb-Sr isochron of 1076 ± 7 Ma for volcanic rocks at Bertrab Nunatak, Coats Land, confirm the existence of rocks of Grenvillian age within both East and West Antarctica and support the juxtaposition of Antarctica and western North America in Neoproterozoic reconstructions.
