Abstract

The present report was drafted by the Extended Bureau of the Working Group on Effects and the Extended Bureau of the Steering Body to the Cooperative Programme for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Long-range Transmission of Air Pollutants in Europe (EMEP) in cooperation with the secretariat to the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution. The review of recent scientific findings is based on the information provided by the lead countries and the International Cooperative Programme programme centres, and is submitted in accordance with the 2014–2015 workplan for the implementation of the Convention (ECE/EB.AIR/122/Add.2, item 1.1.12).
