The 17th Extractive Industry Geology conference was held at Edge Hill University in Ormskirk, Lancashire in September 2012. A total of 40 oral papers and 5 posters were presented, with 21 papers and 2 posters provided in the proceedings which also included guides from each of the 4 field trips
