Sinkholes : BGS media appearances February 2014

In February 2014, a number of occurrences of sinkholes were reported by the media. These sinkholes occurred during the time of the extensive flooding. BGS scientists Dr Helen Reeves, Dr Vanessa Banks, and Dr Tony Cooper appeared on TV and radio to explain what sinkholes are and how they occur.
