Abstract
EO-MINERS is an FP7 project assessing the use of earth observation (EO) techniques to monitor the impacts of mining throughout the full lifecycle. BGS leads the task to develop and disseminate EO-Products that respond to stakeholders needs at three sites: a lignite mine in the Czech Republic, a coal mine in South Africa and a gold mine in Kyrgyzstan. The EO products are in the form of posters, GeoPDFs, animated fly-throughs, 3D visualisations and a video.
