Abstract
The Buoy Heading Sensor was desigoed to provide a continuous measure of the orientation of the Sonic Buoy; this was required for referring the sonic and provane anemometer data to magnetic North.
This document describes in detail the design of the Buoy Heading Sensor; it is intended to serve the combined purposes of documenting the design and acting as a guide to operating and testing the sensor.
