Abstract

BGS urban geoscientist Simon Price and BGS geochemist Dr Chris Vane appeared on the BBC World Service programme Discovery to talk to presenter Gaia Vince about the Anthropocene geological time period and the influence and impact of humans on the environment, and how this may be preserved in the geological timescale millions of years into the future. Simon Price's interview was also used in the BBC Radio 4 programme Frontiers broadcast on 21/11/2012, where the Anthropocene was investigated.
