Abstract
In a video published on the BGS Youtube channel, BGS engineering geologist, Pete Hobbs, explains how the BGS landslides team use Terrestrial Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR). LiDAR is a land-based laser scanner which, combined with a highly accurate differential GPS and camera, enables us to produce 3D computer models of landslides in coastal areas.
