O Dochartaigh, B.E.. 2004 Groundwater conditions at Foss Mine, Aberfeldy. British Geological Survey, 27pp. (IR/04/161) (Unpublished)
Abstract
The bedrock in the Foss area forms a low or very low productivity aquifer. The
groundwater flow direction is likely to be northwards, and flow is likely to occur
dominantly in the upper few tens of metres of the bedrock. Natural groundwater
discharge is likely to be via springs or directly to streams on the hill slopes, or directly to
Loch Tummel.
