Abstract/Summary

This report gives an assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of current approaches to managing the supply of critical raw materials (CRMs). It builds upon an initial phase of work, published in the Overview of activities and policy report. This reviewed current global activities, research and policy leading to the identification of the key issues related to CRM resource management and the sustainability of supply. This review provided the basis for the formulation of a series of recommendation in this study.
