McKenzie, A.A.; Hough, E.. 2002 Digitisation of borehole logs for drift characterisation - Manchester-Macclesfield Pilot. Nottingham, UK, British Geological Survey, 72pp. (IR/02/069) (Unpublished)
This report is the published product of a study by the British Geological Survey (BGS), in conjunction with the North West Region of the Environment Agency (the Agency). It covers work undertaken between October 2001 and April 2002, to digitise data on drift characteristics in the Manchester/Macclesfield area. This work was carried out as part of a collaborative project between the British Geological Survey and the Agency who funded the work as part of their „Drift Infiltration Mapping Scoping Study‟. Paul Jackson and Keith Seymour of the Agency provided advice and guidance on the Agency‟s requirements, and helpful comments on drafts of this report.
Thanks are due to Craig Buchan, James Woodier and James Carty who carried out the bulk of the data entry.
