To fully understand the current status of the UK freshwater environment, there is a need to improve the coordination of monitoring, analysis and evidence provision. This report describes a survey and workshop that enabled diverse stakeholders to share knowledge on UK freshwater biodiversity monitoring, identify gaps, and explore collaborative opportunities.
