Abstract/Summary
Global measurements to characterize gravity wave (GW) parameters, distribution and main trends in the ITM are crucial. This white paper summarizes current GW measurement techniques operated from ground-based to space borne platforms. The capabilities and limitations of each technique are described & discussed. The gaps in current global GW measurements are identified and solutions are suggested.
