This report describes the quality assurance (QA) procedures used to ensure the reliability of
hydrogeological – aquifer properties and groundwater chemistry – data added to the Northern
Ireland Groundwater Data Repository (NIGDR).
Section 1 introduces the NIGDR and the need for QA procedures. Section 2 describes the QA
procedures applied to aquifer properties data and Section 3 describes the procedures applied to
groundwater chemistry data.
