This report is the output of a working group set up by the
Global Food Security programme (GFS), under the auspices of
the UK’s Water Research Innovation Partnership (UKWRIP). It considers whether it is possible to balance high aspirations for environmental water quality, with significant growth in agricultural production to meet food security objectives and provide viable livelihoods for farmers.
