BGS Executive Director's blog : regular updates from BGS Executive Director Professor John Ludden

The BGS Executive Director, John Ludden, continued to add to his blog during 2012-13. The blog aims to highlight a range geoscience issues. During 2012-13, Professor Ludden wrote about topics such as : the opening of the BSG Environmental Science Centre in Keyworth, Nottingham; communicating uncertainty in geosciences; a report from the IGC congress in Brisbane; the BGS glacier observatory in Iceland; the 'forward look' for Earth Sciences in Europe; BGS presence at the American Geophysical Union annual conference in San Francisco; BGS work in the United Arab Emirates.
