This study will investigate the performance of a state of the art model MOSES/JULES in the Pang-Lambourn catchment (part of LOCAR). The Nimrod system uses the best available driving data, observed at 15 minute intervals, to drive a state-of-the-art land surface model which then diagnoses evaporation (among other things). How accurate is this system? Can we rely on it to give us a good estimate of catchment evaporation?
