Abstract/Summary

This is a four-year research programme aiming to improve detection and control of liver fluke in cattle in the United Kingdom. It examines the disease from several perspectives and will develop a multi-faceted approach to tackling what has become an important animal health and economic issue. Combining expertise from a variety of disciplines, we will develop and test pilot strategies to manage liver fluke at farm level and assess the effect of these strategies in terms of national level economics.
