This report gives a summary of the information currently available on groundwa ter q uality i n nor thern Indi a, inc orpora ting 23 of the 28 Indian states, but e xcluding the five s outher n st ates of Mahar ashtra, Andra Pr ades h, Orissa , K arnataka and Ta mil Nadu.
