Abstract/Summary

The northern gannet colonies of St Kilda, Sula Sgeir, Sule Skerry, Sule Stack and the Flannan Islands were counted by aerial survey in June 2013. Overall, conditions in the region appear to be very favourable for breeding northern gannets, which contrasts with ongoing declines seen in other seabird populations.
