Abstract/Summary
Ratios of the radionuclides 137Cs to 134Cs show that a large proportion of the 137Cs present in the fruit bodies is derived from pre-Chernobyl fallout from atomic weapons testing. This suggests accumulation of the radionuclide by fungal mycelia.
