Abstract/Summary

This report discusses the development of a rainfall depth-duration-frequency (DDF) model, which is designed to provide estimates of rainfall frequency for a range of durations at any location in the United Kingdom. The model ensures consistency between the frequency estimates for different durations and allows extrapolation to high return periods relevant to reservoir flood risk analysis.
