Abstract/Summary

The present report is being submitted for the consideration of the Working Group on Effects in accordance with the request of the Executive Body for the Convention on Longrange Transboundary Air Pollution in the 2012–2013 workplan for the implementation of the Convention (ECE/EB.AIR/109/Add.2, items 3.1 (c) and 3.5). The report of the International Cooperative Programme on Effects of Air Pollution on Natural Vegetation and Crops presents the results of ozone impacts on ecosystem services and biodiversity, and the results of the pilot study on mosses as biomonitors of persistent organic pollutants as part of the European moss survey conducted in 2010/11. In addition, the results of the workplan items common to all programmes are presented.
